Together and Alone
Jasmine Wiler’s first book
Jasmine, the daughter of “together and alone” parents, wrote
Together and Alone during her studies in early childhood
education.
During her life as the daughter of “together and alone”
parents, she learned to appreciate the smaller and larger
advantages of living in split families. The story aims to
ease the lives of children whose parents are “together and
alone”, to seek the advantages and to enable the children
of “normal” families to acknowledge other life styles.
Jasmine spent her childhood in Ra’anana, and when she grew
up studied in the Environmental High School at the Ben Gurion
Seminar in Sdeh Boker, specializing in literature and environmental
studies. During her military service, she served as a firing-range
operations room commander in the Golan Heights, and upon
her release, understood that she would like to teach. Following
experiential work in a Zikhron Yaakov kindergarten, she began
her first degree at the Kay College’s Regev program – a program
for excellence.
At present, Jasmine is studying towards her master’s degree
in early childhood education.
